• I was doing shifts at the student bar. I had to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during busy hours in the evenings.

• I was responsible for serving food, taking orders, cash handling and working behind the bar.
• Developed the ability to deal with demanding customers when the restaurant was very busy and to remain calm under pressure.

Galeria Kaufhof (Köln, Germany) Marketing department
• I was working in the marketing department in “Galeria Kaufhof” (METRO) as part of my work experience undertaken at school. There I was introduced to the basis of function of marketing and each ones roll in the marketing team.
• I dealt with current affairs and got delegated talks in translating Power Point presentations from German to English. I was entrusted editing sales reports in Excel.
• As a result I became proficient working with Excel and Power Point. Maintained professional attitude at work strengthen my transferable skills: punctuality, being adaptable, willingness to learn new skills, ability to learn quickly, working with minimal supervision, communication, teamwork.
Positions of Responsibility
• Elected as prefect in Sixth form
This involved representing my class on school events, looking after discipline, feedback student opinions and on certain issues to the relevant members of staff, giving talks on open days to prospective students and their parents
I took up responsibility for my class and this helped me to become more confident and better at leadership.
• Captain of the schools football team.
I motivated the team before games, assisted at training sessions.
Interests
Football- my main interest for the last five years has been football. I am currently playing for the university team which involves regular trainings and games.
I enjoy active holidays ranging from hiking, windsurfing, scuba diving, snowboarding and climbing.
Dancing - from age 8 -14, I have undertaken dance classes three times a week and participated in numerous competitions in many of which I gained winning places.
